View Full Version : mia transparency causes texture blurring

does anyone know what might be causing this? (see attachment). its the lens of an eye (an mia_x material), but for some reason, its causing the texture behind it to be blurred. its not glossy transparency, because that would also blur the object. i've tried everything i can think of (mat and render settings), and i'm just stuck.

anyone ever have similar problems?

i've found that its because the objects is scaled very very small. however, its in a scene where scaling at this point is not possible, so i'm told.

i assume its some kind of optimization of the mia_mat thats causing the problem. i'm just wondering if theres anyway to get them to work at very small scales.
