Hi
I did this shot last week as part of my course work at the college for creative studies in Detroit. It is finished but I might still add a couple details (like sound) but I wanna see what people think. . .

Comments welcome. Enjoy!

Tiny rnder but i still can see some mistakes. With the way the panels are animated it tricks the eye into two dif perspectives. When the guy runs out, the place feels big, when the monster breaks out, the panels fall down as if they were nothing and had now weight to them, as if they were tin foil almost. Which makes it feel as though its alot smaller then it is.

Secondly, right when it takes it first step out into the light, the right foot looks like it jumps from where it placed it originally, it jumps up just a hair, There are 3 frames where its up, then down, then up again. in a non intentional way, but i still noticed it. Also, with a shot like this, i suggest shakking the camera a tiny bit to get the feel of the weight of the animal. When it takes the steps

The lighting looks pretty good, and i dont have much else to say about it, good work.

A pretty good animation
I can only recommend a bit of camera blur- as if the size of the creature smashing through is shaking the ground and camera with each step.

Fine work.

after thinking about what LordShaitan had to say about how the panels seem as though they have no wait, i have to agree.

and i tried looking at what was pointed out about the feet and i really didnt catch it...

the wall breaking doesnt seem as though it quite fits, theres onyl a few particals that seem to come off, and they fly quite far, giving me the impression of little weight.

though i do like it alot, its really kool :-)

good work :-)
