This is my real first complete model. No textures cause I wanna learn how to paint them well before getting into texturing the model. I didn't want to make a complete replica of the final fantasy one... juste inspired by it. So.... feel free to critize... if you think it sucks.... to be to rude please!!!

haven't played any of the FF games but I think it's a great character.
great modeling, but he looks a bit boring because he lacks textures

Really good, you've captured the most defining features of Ifrit, can't wait too see it texture with some fire effects :)

looking pretty good! i just think that the snout or w/e is a little bit too long(im a ff fan) and/or its up too high, but otherwise its looking good

I don't think you should reference your model to FF, you have good modeling skills, muscles are real nice, just the head could look 'meaner' - if you really want to copy on Ifrit.
If its really your first model - bravo ;)

A Ifrit is 1 form of 5 of genies in hebrew mythology, so there's where square got the name :)
They are birdlike with wings of fire (unless i'm totaly mis-informed :))
Most summons/GFs/Eidolons/Espers (aso) are from different mythologies...not many that arn't :surprised
Anyways, i think your Ifrit looks cool :) parhapps a little to cute :)

Thx guys! I appreciate! I actually used XSI 3.0. That's why he isn't textured.... I have to really get the hang of unfolding the model and painting it... anyway... For the horns I tried to mix the ff8 and ff10... the ff8 are straight and the ff10 have weirds curves... For the face I didn't want to make a really mean Ifrit... I just think everyone see this character like that so I wanted to make him different.... a bit more calm... or wise... i dont know but still no one wants to mess with him. For it's origine I heard they were from an arabic religion. They're at the third level under the Devil of "Hell's Hierarchy"... And to answer to demonhunter I do play guitar. Thx again!
