recently I found this on youtube, is not enviroment though but really helpful for learning painting, this guy is amazing take a look, I will try to gather some enviroment speed paintings tutorials

awesome, thanks i'll check it out now, i'm actually graduating from the art institute of san francisco in a few quarters, and i wanted to add a little more flavor to my portfolio, hopefully i can start producing portfolio quality renders for my graduating portfolio at the end of this year. i've done some research in "mentors" of the digital matte painting industry, and i came across your works along with dusso, dylan cole, and chris stoski.

after i paid for my membership for this site, and found out that you were one of the moderators for this forum i was stoked yay!

you going to be at SIGGRAPH this year?

hey , thanks for the kind comments , yeah I'm living now in Los Angeles area, so for sure I will be at siggraph this year, hopefully you can find speed painting tutorials for enviroment,s there aren't many out there.

How I wrote at mp.org - actually we have to on our forums done from the well kown samsonsreaper ;) We have also a video tutorial thread from various artists producing speedpaintings - there is a lot out there, just search for it :thumbsup:
