very impressive... nice use of brazil. I love the way it looks like everything is really lit from the window. Your material especially on the balls is quite realistic looking also, looks like it is shaped correctly instead of a sphere with a map on it. It's that attention to detail that makes this a great piece.

keep up the good work! :bounce:

awesome

I love everything about this, but your texturing in particular blows me away. The detail on the window pane, collected grime etc is just perfect.....

salut les gars,

If photorealism is your goal, then there's one thing missing: the volumetric light you are using should also affect the drum.
This image looks like an unfinished compositing shot: too much difference between the background and the drum in the foreground.

Cheers,
BaRa

Hey man, I saw you stuff on 3dtotal.com and I loved it. Great texutring and lighting. A master piece.

whoa! it's the same model of drum used in "old toy" image by kerninon (2002)! :)

did you take inspiration from that image? or from what? it's strange to see the same particulars in the two images!

Niiiice…

I love the attention to detail that you put into the texturing, I especially like the metals and how the wood is partially wet and dry/dusty in other areas, great job .

tanx for your congratulations,

tyio : pour brazil les paramètres sont 1 en min et 2 en max samples avec la volumetrique cochée, le reste est standart. brazil standart materials, 2 direct light dont une en volumetrique.

ansiaaa : you re right, this is the same model of drum used in "old toys" by kerninon, i was softly inspirate by. also i m in the same school than him ...
