Some people can't see stuff that is hosted by web1000 unfortunately. :surprised :thumbsdow But I put it at geocities as well so hopefully it will work. geocities (http://www.geocities.com/nalhcal_t/viper.htm)

After a fair few tries, have now (succesfully) made some wheels. I thought they would be easy, but it is a complex design. :(
Any thoughts on the wheels?

it is quite good, but rework
the frontlights, they are a bit off from your blueprints!
Coming along nicely! can i ask where you got the blueprints for the viper?

Great start, can't wait to see more.
Only thing I can see right now is the weird little thing going on by the front wheel well.
Wheels look good too, but is there a way to just slightly smooth out where the spokes connect to the actual circular part of the wheel?

Have done a bit more of the interior, and some more mesh adjustment.

Your mesh is too low poly to smooth correctly.

Do you think I lose too much (or not have enough) detail when rendering? :hmm:

See.. the more polys and edges you use (don't overdo it tho), the more control you have when you meshsmooth it all. Let me show you an example of how different uses of edges produce different smoothed results....
see the attachment, and tell me if that explains anything.
Also, if you wanna see how polys can be used specificly on a car, I will post the wireframe from my Ferrari Enzo, but I do not wanna take over your thread, so I will wait until you let me know if you wanna see.

FrageNSTEIN, if you edit your post, you will have the option to delete it if you wish.
Never mind the bonnet, the reflections are weird because it is not welded and these are just test materials.

Done a bit more work on it. Gone for a stripe look on this render.

Looks better... never looked BAD, but it just doesn't pass as the shape of a real viper.
