hey just thought i would post up what ive got,,,sketched the first thing that came to mind when the comp started,,,idea is "the skulls of fallen kings", where the skulls of fallen kings or heros (dom war heros apply), when placed in the ancient suit of necromancy bring to life a powerful undead force......the sketch is just a rough for shape and proportion,,the detail i will work out as i go,,,ill try and do armor detailing in mudbox (use teh comp as an excuse to try somthing new.....well thats all i got for now,,going to strat blocking in forms...let me know what you think

Thats pretty unique, not often you see 'portly' as part of necromancey personified.

The upper part works well, but the legs are so short that I'm not sure how he'd walk. The pike is a very clear, but if it's going to be a major player it'd need to be beefed up (so many world destroying hammers and swords being built for this comp :)). If what's in his hand is secondary to the armor maybe going with a scepter or similar would fit better?

I like the idea of integrating the past challenges, and if you're sending one man in the place of an army it's a good idea to send someone that can summon his own. Solid start.
