hey just seeing what people think. i know the spec maps are off and there are some issues with the uvs when its smooths. also the paint need to be de-saturated. im not at my comp right now so im showing what i have with me at the moment. please c&c be mean!!!! i want to do better because i know it aint right yet. kinda my first shot at real texture painting and mapping. ty

Those are the coolest textures that I have ever seen.
I love the chipped paint with the rust effect on it.
I would really like to know what method you used to make those and how you did it.

That's looking quite cool, although the placement of the damage doesn't make a lot of sense in this case. On an object like this, I would imagine that the damage and rust placement should be a little more carefully thought out - it is more likely that the wear and tear would occur along edges, and areas that are more exposed to handling and weathering.

At the moment, your details are placed a little too haphazardly to be believable.

yeah, I couldn't think of that myself but Leigh's right (of course)...
I would say it's more dirtier around the engine and more 'baked' around the exhaust pipes

here is an update.....been done for a while but the rendering has killed me....stupid comp keeps erroeing out for some reason. anyway here is the back view...ill have a front view later.
