View Full Version : Character: Portrait of a woman
Hi all! This image was done in Photoshop. I used a photo as a reference, since I didn't have anyone around to pose for me. It was my first attempt of creating a digital painting.

looks good.
nice illustration, a cool trick to the hair is run the smudge tool over it with a low opacity. follow the hair from the roots and it will make it look more like real hair.
nice job with shading and lighting though

Looks nice dude, Laetitia Casta is my favorite model!!! She has that classic beauty goin on.
The face and eyes look good.
What stands out to me most is the hair, I think the color and texture of the hair are quite off. Also, the lower jaw/mouth area look like they are a bit crooked/not in perspective correctly with face.
Hope this helps
