Hello All,
Long time no post. Dominance War seems very exciting this year and I felt a strong urge to participate this year. With that said, here is my entry: Jambo the Gorilla Warlord.
Comments and critiques are always welcomed!
I;ll post more shortly.

thanks

I like this, but he seems to get lost in it. I know this is just concept art, but maybe back/high light the head, arms and legs little to help them stand out just a bit. But it does look good.

Excellent! I LOVE gorilla :). It's remembers me a work i did 2 years ago on the game Legend of the black buccaneer. We have done voodoo gorilla. Unfortunately i lost the reference with my hard drive... But it's a great idea. Keep it up!

What do you think of a white one with bloody tatoo?

Thanks for the compliments guys, I really appreciate it! Here is another sketch I did that is helping me flesh out Jambo a little more. Hopefully there is enough detail in this drawing to let you guys know what i am planning to do with him.
I think i want to do one more drawing before I start to model this guy out though.

Great concept. I wouldn't come across that thing... Is there a story behind those skulls? Some "victims" maybe?
