Ok, I feel retarded having to ask this, but I have not been able to figure this out. Iduno if my copy of zBrush is screwy (things like the rename button doesn't work usually) but I have not been able to paint with a texture for the life of me. I've been able to make my own custom alpha maps for brushes, but I keep trying to paint with color from a texture map or using z project and at most I seem to get a plane color being painted on. I've got a UV map on the character, but when ever I turn on a texture, it goes on the whole model as if that was the map I was trying to apply to the UVs rather than painting it onto the model.

If somebody's willing to help me figure this out, might be easier on IM.

Thanks to anybody who can help. This is just holding me up way too long though and I feel like it has to be something simple that I'm missing.

Sweet Zombi Jesus, I finally figured it out. I had to disable my UVs and fill the object with color to get it to work.

Really, I'd love to meet the developers of Z Brush some day and give them a hug and then kick them in the shins. I love some of the features, but the way they impliment them sometimes.... Damn programers...
