View Full Version : DWIII - 3D - Betrayer - Crab Warlord

Hi everyone !
Let's start the war !
My character will be a warlord and uses Ice in his artifact.
Coming from the wasted beaches, this giant crab's got an oversised plier he use both as weapon and shield . His kind have a ritual to become warriors : they must remove one part of their body and replace it with a magical blade...
first drawings are coming soon !

Thanks for the comments !
Here's the low poly made with maya, the final design ain't totally fixed yet mainly for the upper part of the beast (shoulders and pliers) because I wanted to focus on the general shape.
I'll add more agressive details in its organic armour in Zbrush in order to make it look more complex and sharper. Same thing for the Ice Blade...
As always, C & C are welcome !

Looking cool! :)
Nice to see another aquatic-inspired critter. That mega-claw has fun possibilities.

haha this went way diffrent then i thought from the original drawings haha but very cool, i like the armory look of the back.
ill tell yah what i dont like lol is that big chest, i under stand what your doing with it, but i hate it lol
actually now that i look at it again, i think whats bothering me about it is that its one peace.
i think if segmented it, where you already have the grooves
it wouldnt bother me as much.
im also not a fan of whats going on in the center of his chest, id put a peace of armor or a spike there.
those are my only two complaints, other than that i really like whats going on with it :-D
