Looks great! Did you use the physical SSS shader or the fast SSS? The model looks amazing in the turnaround, but you're getting some odd flashing around the edges.

Superb render, I love the character and can appreciate all of the time you spent on it. I have zbrush and haven't used it yet, still working in Daz/Poser with their models for the moment.

I love the details and textures, and the way her tips have squishies like tentacles do.


I think the face lost something though; In close up, you can clearly understand where her mouth is, and yet in the full picture it kinda looks as if shes smiling (as if one of the eye socket places is also a grinning mouth), and I think it looks less cool that way.

Could be just me, though.

That is so awesome. Did you plan any of this out on paper before hand or did you just start modeling from your head? Maybe just through out some concept drawings to get the kind of shape and form you want but for the most part just start modeling.
