Hi folks.

Does anybody know how i can render the shadowmap on the texture map in LW. I know that it is possible in Maya and it is possible in 3ds Max (with final render plugin).

Is there any plugin for LW that does the same.

I want to use my Objects for a Real Time Engine and want to render the shadows on it.

Thanks for help

look in the surface editor, \shader tab.

surface baker lets you "bake" shadows, radiosity, textures, everything (you can just boxcheck what you want).
It lets you chose what kind of mapping you want (vertex, uv, and so on) then just render and it will output the new texture(s).
it can take quite a while if you use radiosity...
for best results, if your mesh has enough points, you can use vertex map, but i dont know if you can translate that easyly for real time purposes.

if you remember MikeRB's entry on march challenge, he used it to make us dream with a modeler radiosity preview of his demon...

tanx, dies-irae.

That is exactly what i need.

WOW. Just imagine radiosity rendered objects in a real time engine.
