Ok, here's a start. I havn't desided much yet. I want a big and powerful looking weapond. I'm going to work more on thumbnails before I deside more.
Made some more thumbs, to try to find something I like.
Damn, can't deside what to move on with.
Ok. This is what I will go for, I guess. Started to do some frontview testing as well.

on last. the proportion are a little bit off, don't you think?
Well, what can I say, it wasn't my intention to make an anatomically correct human body. I thought that was obvious, but I guess I need to enhance for exsamlpe the big three-fingered hands and under arms more.
At the moment I'm working on the head and hair.

Nice going there E. It reminds me very much of the "Gothic" world, the game series. Have you played them? I really like them, Orc vs Nomad Humans.
I also like all your thumbs. Especially the pirate with tentacle arms and the big rock guy with the gigantic fire staff. Me likes!
Keep it up. What are your next move?

Awesome load of ideas! I like the necromancer with the large staff.
I wasn't satisfied with the barbarian look of the character and changed it towards a more gritty indian feel. More covered and more things happening on the body. Also tried out some different hair styles and finally choose a cool diagonal mohawk.
Must start working on his weapond, some kind of dark energy thingy. Also want to start thumb-nailing some final pose images.

Nice concepts! Love the different face paint… It adds history to the character… Thanks for sharing!

Nice studies, looks very promising!
I really liked the coloured heads/faces showing hairstyles. you are going in some interesting directions too- I like the guy holding the huge cannon like thing...
cool work, good luck!
Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it.
DV8: I'm thinking of returning a bit towards the big weapond concept from my first sketch. Was it the one you ment with "the huge cannon like thing".
Did some poses and weapond design sketches. Havn't desided if he's going to use darkness, light or fire for his weapond. I mean he's looking kind of dark in the character design. What do you think?
Also added a really quick color test of the armor. I think it was quite nice having the red color on the inside of the armor, as a contrast to the cold grey metal. Not very satisfied by the beige fabric, thinking of changing it to black.

I really like that big bazooka-looking weapon from your original color sketch. Makes me wonder what it can do!
