Very nice work indeed, great design and form in this mechanical dragon. Great modelling and lighting all around Excellent work! The only suggestion I would have is to choose a better topic next time "Character: Imperial Mechanical Dragon" would have drawn in a lot more response :)

wow. very nice.
I voted "very good" cause I always love mechanized animals :D
really nice renders. But I find the design very confusing. I guess it works much better in an animation but in these stills it's really hard to see what's what at a glance. The head totally disappears in the jumble of the body. I think a different material than chrome would help this a lot.

I like the model very much, though Id like to see it better. The lighting needs some work... If its GI it needs to smooth out the photons by sampling a wider range, if its FG it needs a higher amount of samples.

neat design, but it is hard to see the detail without higher rez images, or an animation that gets up close. Might be interesting if you used more colors, maybe some laquered steel, or more gold bits, or copper and bronze. Something so that the parts contrast more and can be differentiated easier.
Or maybe something as simple as not putting it on a white background might help.
Neat enough to make me wish it were easier to see details.

I like the dragon stuff, and mechanized is all better :surprised
I don't think you have to smooth the GI - I like this kind of noisy result, its not more realistic than smoothed, but smoth ain't too - right ? and it changes a bit from this supersmoothded results you see everywhere ... but then I don't like that chrome everywhere - there's (no textures first ... ) and no REAL differences on the main parts of that dragon, maybe just a little diferent taint or some less reflection on some parts ... but still nice work, I'd like to see him animated :scream:

I also suggest you create some Hi-res images of it. Those small ones don't do it enough justice.

alright!! very nice, I love the decorations on the metal.
The dragon itself is a bit difficult to understand because it lacks definition of verious parts, aspecially the head. I would also try using more contrast metalic colors on the verious parts to further improve definition. otherwise you've done a great job.
Sweet model dude, what did you use to model it?

Can we possibly get a higher res of this? I would love to use it as a desktop wallpaper. Great job.

I really like it but I'm having trouble finding the focal points? there seems to be too much evenness of detail, so nothing stands out really, if that makes sense.

Nice work, now you just need to animate it and put on some hard music and thats a good demo real.
Keep it up.
