This is an illustration for a book called "A Fantasy Artist's Pocket Reference: Faeries" from David & Charles Publishing. This image was made in Photoshop, starting with a very basic mesh to paint over.

I'm open to all critiques, and comments about my image.~

A very beautiful character you have there! reminds me of the dryad in "secret of mana". only the breasts seem a bit strange to me because of the strong outlines.
anyway great job!

Hey Artemis,
I just looked into your portfolio. You have a talent for mood/ atmosphere. Very pure. The kabouter, is my favorite, lovely texture.

Now a little comment on the picture above. Other than her, there is no sign of living creatures in the forest.I think it would be cool to ad some in this peacefull picture of nature.
