-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Name: Fross
Class: Invoker
Element: Water/Ice
Weapon: Not entirely sure yet. Probably a sword or staff.

First concept (excuse the crappy concept art) I think I wanna make him much more bulky.

So toying with other ideas. new concept. I don't like the body (somone's already doing a body like this, and I want to be unique) but the head I like a bit. I think I like the spider legs on the back. Probably an undead, but I'll keep a light skin. New concept soon, but here is the now:

Going in a new direction. It's a Litch who uses darkness/void. he's missing an arm and a leg. Those will be replaced by arms and legs made out of dark magic (I haven't added this part yet).

Woke up today and I'm not sure how much I like the armor. I think it looks too heavy for this character. I'll be doing other tests.

Possibly what the black magic arm and leg look like:

Heya

The Lich guy looks good (the idea is cool indeed).
Although IMO you could revise his proportions to give him more of that undead feel (more skinny looking, thiner abdominal area, arms, etc).
Perhaps even "unsimetrizing) him by doing the aforementioned changes on his "fleshy" side, and the void limbs being more normal.

Hope that helps :)

@Morgado: Hey thanks a ton for the input! I think your idea would make it look a lot better. Give it a starving feeling. I also like the idea of breaking up the symmetry by making the void-limbs larger and more natural looking. Here's a small image. I'm trying to balance the top and bottom, and give it more of a look. I think it still needs to be skinner like you said. Anyways, here's the image:

Still need to find a better armor look. Probably use more robe like stuff.

Thats not the kind of thin I had in my mind. Observe representations of undead humans: the skinny feel is achieved by evidencing the inner skeleton, and getting rid of muscle almost completely, the result being that you get some volumous parts against some very thin ones. Say for instance on the torso, you'd have that huge mass that his the torax, and then right below it the rest of the spine (very thin), and then a large mass that is the hip bone, and so on. And then of course, you can deform these relations to some point, but always keeping in mind that you feel it is skinny because you have those big masses to relate the thin masses to. Hope the above is understandable :)

That should make for a more interesting read.

Also, try changing his pose to something more dinamic (scribble strawmans away :) )
