Welcome to CG Talk :)

Nice model, although you really should set up a proper lighting rig for it - right now, this lighting isn't doing any justice to your model ;)

Would be nice to see a wireframe too. And some closeups :)

It's hard to make many crits or suggestions from these - although I can suggest giving him some clothes! :D

Hi Ajbarr, First your character is cool...Im a fan of monster and beasts of all kind,

Hi think you have some skills in the modeling of anatomy he looks good,

have you modeled him in that pose or it is a bonned character in position?

I just thinks that the textures and lightning are the weakests parts try to improve these little points.

I realize the texture is a bit cheesy, all thats been done is painting, using the 3dpaint tool in maya... what don't you like about the lighting? you want GI?

the back pose looks really cool. but theres something lacking in the front. maybe you could put more muscle tone in the legs. and like leigh said, some good lighting will make it even better. for starters put another light in to get rid of all the dark shadows and put in a back light or somthing.

Hmm.. I think my monitor is just too bright then.. because there is a key, fill, and two back lights in everyone of these images... I'll try and calibrate it. I keep getting people saying my images are too dark:(
