Title: Wolves Den
Name: Reggie Felder
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Just a personal image of a wolf's den. I recently went hiking in the mountains south of Las Vegas, NV. and I saw a cave that looked a lot like the one I modeled. The walls were smooth and shaped as though thousands of years of water created their shape. I thought it was great and decided to model it.

I like it, but it could use some more creepy, darker lighting than this. The "scary" wolves demand scarier, darker lighting to create the right atmosphere, imo. Also, you should some other objects to the scene, it's kind of bland at the moment. Maybe some plants or shrubs along the bottom/walls?

Thanks for the reply. I know exactly what you mean. I think I tried too hard on creating the scene the way I remembered it (minus the wolves and bones). But the area was part of a desert area by the mountains, so the land was actually jagged rocks, and VERY little to no grass. That is the reason I keep the shrubs little to none. But I apprecite the feedback. I may work on a second version with more detail and a darker mood.

Thanks again!

Ah, I see.

Maybe something more like this would make the scene more interesting:

You could make the wolves partly visible, and maybe some glowing eyes (without making it cheesy)..?
