View Full Version : need HELP!!! Shake on LINUX...
ernanliao 05-02-2003, 04:14 AM I just install Red Hat 8 today on my computer, and got the new version of shake 2.5 as well. I need help on how to install it onto my linux system... HELP!!!
The customer service is so hard to reach, i left a message, and never get any response.
Please help. im new to linux, so need some step by step help...

When you download shake in the customer download section of apple's site, there is a document called "shakeinstall.pdf". It explains step by step exactly how to install shake on linux.

hmm , actully i am new to linux too
i remembered that someone told me i needn't install shake on the linux based systerm .
in red hat , the way of install a software have 2 ,
one is rpm and the other one i forget ( for .tgz)
i do not if the words above is right , but hope you can remember or get any info here , good luck :p
I had similar troubles, i moved to osx now...
