I've decided to join the team and this is my thread for contest..
..lets push the limits and win!
CHARACTER | Sunworshipper
Race: Super human - male
Artifact weapon: Heart of the Sun - Fire/lava
THE STORY | part #1
My character is a super human who gained his powers while he was roving through the wormholes.
In his last travel burst of the Sun radiation had somehow directed his path through the heart of the Sun. After seeing that nobody had seen and feeling that nobody had ever felt a lifeless body of a man appeared on the otherside of wormhole...
...to be continued
At the moment I'm thinking through the character, his abilities, weaknesses and sh#t..:).
Soon enough will start sketching. Good luck to everyone!

Sneak peek at character that I'm working on.
At the moment I'm trying to give my character as much soul as possible by working on anatomy and facial structure. I'll probably leave clothing and accesories for afterwards cause things are not really a character. I wouldn't call a guy wearing nice pants, hat and fancy sneackers a character. For me it's more important what is that person inside, what he or she can do.
Now I'm pretty certain that my character will have long hair and thing going on around his heart.
Hope you like it! :)

First attempt with color :) You can see ribs and arm bones through his skin.
Also this glow, is sort of sun radiation - not fire, fire would be too typical. And in case he's about to fight his hair will change the color and go up sort of DragonBall Z thing.

nice pose man!
anyway i would suggest to work a little bit more with perspective and right arm.
wish you luck!

Thanx 4 the feedback luCiFEAR , I already started to worry that unless you produce 3d no one would coment an unknowen artist work . And you right arms are my weak point, I find it realy complicating to draw.. usualy a get 1 of 4 drawings that stand critics, can not work like a machine. I guess it depends on things - mood, inspiration, music .. weather
In any case here're my latest sketches:
Tryed some peace of cloth.. unbuttoned shirt.
Here are characters faces, I kinda like highlighted three.
dude I really dig your concepts, lines look awesome!
I like the character too, very cool looking, matches CGS colors as well ^^ although maybe I'd add some more detail, maybe cloth detail or something...

Latest sketches, ...
getting some cloth and other detail. I'm not sure about the weapon since my characters artifact is his heart..
I find it not that important to add some spikes or a huge armor around the body..in any
case I'll keep drawing till get something interesting to show yu guys :)

Hi again to all who've been keeping an eye on my character. I've been really busy at work
and had only the night time to work. Here are my latest sketches:
I've been painting this picture for 6 hours straight, and few days more after that. It's not
perffect, but I'm not much of a painter to :) To say more this is my first serious panting
after this one broken sword (http://digi-est.deviantart.com/art/tulip-with-a-broken-sword-2809404) .
to make more deeper feeling I still had to twig levels and color ballance.
And the actual desing that I'm going 3D is below:
Character will have sort of leather pantcer on his back for protection(motorcyclers use
something similar to that). And weapon will be "Strings of light" which he'll pull of his fists
and slash & slice anything on his way. :)
Hope you like it!
