View Full Version : Shading : Bump map error ?
PsySpectre 05-01-2003, 10:52 PM I've fixed an earlier model of mine. Copied in some Other parts, like hands... But When i put a bump map (noise, smoke, and so on) on it. It gets realy wierd. i tried to export it to a .3ds file and imported it again. But.. the same problem there...
the first picture is the model without any bump-map.
The second picture is with bump-map.. No collors though..
I hope anyone can help me....

Also the mapping type can fix this issue.

I don't see the problem...?
Someone feel free to point out whereever this bumpmapping error is supposed to be.
Oh, is it the black lines? Try not bumpmapping with such a high value, extreme bumpmapping does that.. switch to displacement instead.

When I use a low value nothing shows up. But Whn I finaly get som results that is all I get... I got the choice between No bump or crappy bump.... 2d bump map works thoug..
