View Full Version : Bevel in Max
acwang1 05-01-2003, 10:42 PM A question for everone. In Max, is there way to generate a fillet edge as smooth as it does in rhino? For example, f you want a fillet edgein rhino, all you need to do is to select the edge and specify how much fillet quality you want and normally the result comes out nice and smooth. Is there any similar function in Max?
Thanks a lot!

There is a bevel modifier that can be set to rounded segments, but Rhino is a nurbs modeler and therefore we are not really talking apples to apples.

Hey, that would be the chamfer button if I get you right. Just select an edge, hit the chamfer-button and drag on the edge. If you want options you can hit the little box next to the button.
Cheers!
