CGTalk - vmware shake problem

I recently had to format my drives and I decided to use shake in vmware envronment in windows. I tried Centos 5.1 and Redhat Enterprise 5 but got the same results. In both of them Shake becomes unstable and crashes X server. Is there any solution to this, I'm going crazy.

Shake uses opengl to draw the gui. VMware currently doesn't support opengl. IE, you probably can't run Shake under vmware.

thanks, it took me some time to figure it out

its a shame really, it would have made my job much easier
