Time to finally get this entry started. Decided to scrap the whole anthro idea in exchange for something a little bit darker. Here is the demon Razakel ! See newest update for more info.

Name: Razakel
Race : Archdemon
Class : Invoker
Artifact : Masks of Servitude
Element : Summoning

BACKSTORY

There once was a commoner man who lived in the village. He was an unskilled man without any real aptitude finding his way blindly through life. A bastard, he was often abused and mistreated by others and generally despised his fellow man. One day, after his wife left him for his only friend, he found himself wishing for revenge. Revenge against his horrible station in life, revenge against the betrayal of his friends and family, revenge against the whole of humanity.

Someone heard his wish...

The devil, seeing this tortured soul and his lack of faith in humanity, felt he should make this man an offer. In exchange for his soul, in a pact of blood, the man was endowed by the beast and he found himself transformed. Human no more, immortal, a demon. The ancient and forbidden lore of death's magic flowed through him. He had become Razakel, the devil's servant. Razakel's blood lust and awesome displays of murderous rage earned him the rank of archdemon and the position of chief assassin of hell.

When not serving his lord, he has been known to take on pacts from mortals, to exchange favors for the moral's soul. Lucifer does not mind this, as is only adds more souls to hell's coffers. This is the case when the ruling council of the CGSociety, finding themselves on the loosing side of a war and unable to send a warrior to the machine's world, made a very difficult decision. They summoned Razakel, to make a pact, the council as a whole would sacrifice themselves to the demon in exchange for his service. To go into the machine's home world, annihilate the threat and bring back the technology needed to turn the war in their favor. Razakel smirked at such a request, immortal demons having no fear of robots, and enthusiastically accepted their offer.

WEAPON INFO

Razakel is an extremely powerful invoker, able to manipulate the elements as well as command lost souls and lesser demons. His artifact weapon is a special construct of the underworld, the masks of servitude. He can summon into these two masks any primal force or spirit such as the elements or damned human souls. The mask gives these energies form, allowing them to directly effect the world around them. Anything the mask is controlling is contorted into a humanoid form and can range in size from a few feed to a few hundred feet tall. The masks give the force a consciousness which Razakel can control through the use of spectral chains that connect the masks to his right hand. He conjures his ancient demon lore with his left hand, and acts as an unholy puppeteer with his right, commanding the mask's inhabitants to do his bidding.

Working on some quick sketches, I'll be posting all sorts of stuff here as I take apart the concept in my head. Please feel free to comment on anything I post up. Here is the first little sketch I've made.

I'm considering all manor of animal right now. I just think the big cat might be the best mix with the rest of the concept in my head. I'll be doing some full body sketches after I've brainstormed animals. Here are some more...

Ok, finally making some headway on my 3D entry, a little bit behind, but plenty of time to catch up, right? You can pretty much forget my initial sketches, since I haven't really been working on my 3D entry, I've been playing with some idea in my head and decided to go a very different route. I opted to make a very large Demon type creature. The logic is Demonic powers > Robots. I made my initial sketch last week, but before I scanned them in, I dropped by Superpauloitalo's entry and noticed our characters had some similar features. I was very surprised! I don't want my entry to look like someone else's! I decided the best thing I could do was some redesigns. I still like my original the most though. Let me hear your opinions!

I'm definitely going to develop this character eventually, however my job search cut my Dominance War entries off at the knees, I couldn't ever really get started the way I wanted too. I'll look forward to modeling it in the future.
