Hey guys! ive started on my concept, good luck to all, cant wait to see the awsome designs.
heres my helmet design.
Name : not decided
Race : human
Class : Stalker
Artifact : Air/Lightning
Uses air/electricity magic in armour to controll powerfull arm whips that deflect
danger and stab enemies sending a chanrge through them Helmet also has air pressure sensors all around to aid whips in sensing oncoming objects
from a distance. can also send high pressure air through to feet enabling him to float and jump high
to access hard to reach places, he is very fast and agile.
He grew up raising himself, had no parents as they were killed in the war, living his life
for pure survival and training to seek vengance, one day as he was hunting stumbled
across this glowing artifact, he put it in his pocket and went back to his
cave were he crafts armor out of old technology that once was and crafts into new
elemental armor. that posses powerful and unique features.

Ok heres a lil update, few parts im not happy with but liking the overall feel, shotgun will not be staying long, and not liking the chest because its a bit small, will fix later.. maybe, im hungry to get modeling this ^_^
the "hair" are electricity conductors to help the electricity flow and enables him to have much more cotroll over his powers, his weapon are going to be lance whips coming out of his back somewere ;p
they send electrical charges through his enemies to fry them inside out, and can stun them by sending volts through the earth
hope ya like it.

OK heres another small update, more to come later
Started with a box in zbrush, and got rough form of the helmet shape, used zbrush retopology tools and its great! very easy and fast to get good flow and keep poly limit low!
so heres the quick sculpt
and heres a pic of the lowpoly basemesh's
964 polies on left and 240 polies on right
will be optimizing the realy low poly to fit my concept a bit better.
I think the 2nd division is just a bit too high to optimize and fix.
crit n comment welcome

Hey, only a small update, started working on armor
these zbrush models are for refrence to retopologize only, i will be joining them all in 3ds to create my lowres model with best possible polygon distribution, then i will export finished lowres model into zbrush to finish off and do all the details for normal map.

Few proportional things and imported my template head to see how its all fitting, my lowpoly has a few conductors on the back. The back of armor is were the arm weapons will be coming out off
all crit and comments welcome

Here is another sketch of the same thumbnail sketch pose
i like some other elements compared to my other.
and heres another quick armor revision sculpt
tell me your thoughts
Well, maybe you should work on the proportions a bit more, he looks way too much "normal", he really doesn't scare me, I can't respect him. I would enlarge the belly or the shoulders. The the armor dezign is really interesting.

pretty dang cool...
he looks more like the metal guys that come out of the wormhole that your character is supposed to be fighting... maybe because of the shader he has on him... maybe because it looks like the arms are part of the metal armor.
