I'm doing an animation at the moment in XSI where i have a group (about 4) of DVD's bouncing up to the front door of a house.
I wanted to animate one of them doing this and then just duplicate the object with the anim and tweak it for the others.
Is this posible and if so would it be the best or not.

The DVD's are made to bounce using a 3 bone structure running through them in a s shape.

Any help would be really appreciated.

AJ cheers

this is XSIs forte, XSi makes copying entire character setups vey straightforward.

make a model node for your dvd char so it has its own mixer(easier to mange) of animation clips arranged to your liking then duplicate the model 3 times and tweak each seperately. If you want to just do minor tweaking between each, look at the equalizer for clip effects.

select your dvd

create a model

create an action(or as many as you wish)

duplicate your model

open animation mixer

create animation track(s)

drag and drop your action(s) in to the track(s)

weight them and play

OUHMMM, it's so easy to say....
