I love seeing hot rod, sports, and concept car renders as much as the next guy, but they always seem to be perfectly slick and rendered in pristine, picturesque environments. I thought I'd take things in the opposite direction and try to come up with something more toward what the common man would drive with a teeny bit of mud and rust thrown in. I'm just as fascinated to see old beat up cars as I do new ones.
This piece was a lot of fun to do and it gave me some great experience in texturing. I hope you enjoy it.

I saw this on zbrush central. Very nice work. However I liked the car more when you posed it in an empty scene. I think all the rust and mud and the yellow color in general dominates too much.
