In Mj poly tools for maya theres an option to Spin Faces/Edges..
I was wondering if theres something similar for max ? It would be better to achieve it with max tools (if possible) ?

Nope i do too, but maybe there's just noone that actually knows, so maybe it just doesn't exist yet :)

that sux.. i know that polyboost has it. But you cant go and use some other plugin for ever function..you know what i mean..

Well, still you should keep looking. I don't know maxscripting at all but can't you do it this way ? Does seem like a very complex tool :shrug:

Boboland has one, but I haven't tried it for newer versions of Max.

thnx dude, i'll give it a try and post some results here..
edit: I just installed the script on 3ds max 2008 32 bit on xp.. it loads without problems but
when i try to drag it into my toolbar it wont do nothing, also assigning it a shortkey doesnt help
