a Little short made in two weeks for Animated 3D Competitions in italy ^_^.

The Story:

"Famous critical of the Mute cinema they affirm that this film has been found again to end of the years ' 20 in an old room of a cinema in Paris.Unfortunately the news is still very little that have on this filmed but,the experts looking at the images that were introduced him before they decided unanimously that it was treated of an even antecedent product to the first Mickey Mouse (Steamboat Willie,1928) and part of the work cartoon of remaking of the Shakespeare's Comedy of "Romeo & Juliet", where the deeds of the small Romeo,del were narrated his troubled love with the beautiful Jiuliet and of his big problem of the emotion, that traspare clearly from the precious frames that have been recovered.
Subsequently in the 80's years had not found information on the orchestra or on the disk of accompaniment yet him definite e' of to entrust to a band responsibility to accompany those splendid picture.The Band created a perfect union between images and music leaving decidedly stunned the public at the cinema".

Almost entirely restored it is possible to view this masterpiece of the Mute film of animation to this address.

Overall it was amusing.

I think your camera focus could have been held longer on the main subjects- at first I thought it was a general dancing scene that was to by my focus, but then you develoeped a story. I didn't think the cinematography focused well enough on getting across that idea.

Camera could afford to be locked down once in awhile. The cut away at about 39 seconds doesn't make sense narratively to me. Other cuts are confusing too.

Also the amount of motion on screen in combination with the amount of motion you added by way of varying the film transluscence, scratches, and dirt was a distracting. A more subtle "restoration" could accomplish the same atmosphere you're going for without being disorienting.

like every thing but the ending.. or is it just a preview? The little box should have his love in the end :sad:
