I would just like to say that this model probably wouldn't look right animating, since I didn't make the joints all that articulated. However, this is just a small statue, a set prop, and was never meant to be anything more.

BTW, wouldn't you like to see Nintendo make a new Kid Icarus game? I know I would...

(its 436 polys when fully triangulated...)

hey, that's cool. What was Kid Icarus? I'm assuming you encountered a minotaur or something at some point, ehe. Or not? I'm not clear on any of that stuff. I like the model by the way :D I'm curious to what it is exactly though. Well, what kid icarus is for nintendo. Good job, the face is good stuff. it's very statue like as intended :)

OKAY... since many don't remember or never played it...

Kid Icarus was an 8-bit NES game from the same creator of Metroid, and, incidentally, the Gameboy (system) - the late Gumpei Yokoi.

Basically most levels were vertically scrolling, but there were dungeons where you could go in all directions. It was one of the first games to have multiple endings depending on how well you played (you would end up as a farmer, warrior, king etc).

Anyway, it was great fun and one of my childhood faves.

Looks cool! Loved playing Kid Icarus as a kid and enjoy seeing him again. Even if it is just a statue ;) . Be interesting to see it in a game, you get your bow from his hand or something.

ahhh I see. Well that makes that even cooler, just because I rarely see anyone make anyhting from NES games. My child hood favorite was secret of mana, it was the first game I ever really playyeeddd and got into. I was a super nintendo child. Stupid nofriendo, hehe.
