Hi

I have a question regarding the different aproaches to eyeball modelling. I usually build my eyeballs with 2 parts - inner and outer parts, but i have seen other techinques that include modelling the iris. Alex alverex uses this techique on his the gnomon site. Can someone explain which is the most realistic technique and has best results..

thankyou

well...Alvarez shows the final rendered image at the end of that tutorial and the result looks pretty convincing...compare the rendered results of his work and yours and look what works better in different situations....

BTW...here is another eye modeling tut (http://www.3dtotal.com/team/tutorials/antro_eye1/antro_eyemod_01.asp) made by Antropus and he follows a similar approach.

i would trust these guys. Their approach is not even concidered heavy modeling... :)
