I just finished watching the anime called Wolf's Rain. And now I feel like drawing some fan art for it :)

This is Toboe in his both forms.

What exactly are you trying to achieve by doing a fanart piece? I don't ask this to be disrespectful but I think that if you are inspired to do a fanart, then it shouldn't be a simple master copy of picture. I would think that the inspiration comes from the spirit of the work and you might be more satisfied if you chose to present the characters both as they are and as you see them, all in your own composition. That way you can render the characters you love but also put something of your own into the fanart.

That aside, anime and manga have pronounced line art. This isn't seen in your piece. I think it would help if you did some sketches to develop the form and style instead of jumping straight into color. The man also appears to be leaning oddly and the perspective isn't thought through much. Though, to be fair, perspective and weight isn't much addressed in the reference you're using either.

Good luck.

Umm... Well, as you already noticed, I'm not doing copy of the pic. I did make them stand next to each other, like in the ref, but the final piece shouldn't look anything like it.
I'm doing it my style, as in more realistic (can already be seen in the wolf).
I did make the sketch first, this is just the rough color version that I drew under it ..that's kinda how I work.
But I hope to continue this today, I hope it seems more fanart-like then :D

I'm planning on drawing the other characters as well, if this one works out.

Just quickly, the things that stand out at me are:

Looking at a couple of reference images (Image 1 (http://thorwulfx.googlepages.com/b_GarySchultz_ArcticWolf-1024x768.jpg/b_GarySchultz_ArcticWolf-1024x768-full.jpg) Image 2 (http://www.jasonhahn.com/gallery/albums/dec2006/timber_wolf_seacrest_112806_043.jpg) Image 3 (http://www.maxwaugh.com/images/yellowstone07may/wolf1.jpg)) your wolf needs some work. What type of wolf is he/she? There's a couple of different ones in the reference images. We don't get wolves in here in Australia and they look pretty similar to me. Perhaps looking up some canine anatomy will help as well.
The knees don't look to be part of the jeans. You need to remove the dark lines above and below the knees.
The left boot (as viewed) needs to be turned a little towards the right to look correct, I think. When I imagine the bones in the foot and try and follow it up it seems as if the knee would be outside the pants. Try it and see what you think.
The shirt sleeves seem to be bunched up a little too much. By the looks of it, he's folded his sleeve at least once before pulling them up, so if you mentally 'unscrunch' the sleeve and then add one or two thicknesses of the folded section, it extends well beyond his hand. Perhaps it's just a shirt that's too long for him, but in that case the center bit should extend lower down his abdomen than it does - or you could tuck it in.
If that's a bandage on the wolf's foot, you've got to do some work on that get it looking correct.
Composition wise, you could probably change things around a little. I have very little idea when it comes to this area myself, but I'd suggest trying to lower the horizon to make you appreciate they're standing on a hill.
