... Thanks Larry. I emailed Lee and will let you all know what happens. I also want to mention here that the two days was money VERY well spent. I got home and had hours of playing with LW. I have just been experimenting with some particle and MD_controller stuff. No finished work yet. Haven't touched the cd's much but they look to be as good if not better than the topics covered on the tour. Thanks Lee & Larry!!!!

i'm still debating whether I should go.. it's kind of steep for $199 other than the 2 cd's what else do you get ? will they show LW 8 there ? is each show the same with the same people ? also, what's on that DVD from last show ? i really want to go, is it 8 hrs each day ? thanks !

It is 8 hours each day. Forget the giveaways, which are alone worth the price, but rather think this way...
An average book costs $50, so for the price of four books you get face-to-face training, which is way more valuable. In addition Lee answered every single question I asked, and believe me, I asked alot of questions. I hope you make the decision to attend. I was skeptical at first but left extremely pleased. Good luck!

Youre kidding right? $199.00 for two days of training by itself is rock bottom. Throw in the 2 CDs from the previous tours and the newer one with the extra material and its an excellent value.
I suggest looking around at what other people charge for a single day of training. Others charge $500 or more for two days.

Hmm it's coming to Minneapolis on July 26 and 27. Then on the 29th - 31st is Siggraph that I will probably be going to aswell! --- Could be a *very* interesting week!
I have a question about the seminars though. --- I understand that pen and paper will be needed to take notes... --- But do some people bring laptops aswell? -- Or would that sorta be a disturbance hearing people typing?

People have done both or even filmed it. Most of the people who bring laptops seem to bring them to practice on. You can take notes but thats a good way to miss some things which is why we hand out the CDs. :)
