Ok, Ok, I fell like I'm staring at something rare...Just wonderful! I'm quite an "adult boy", but seeing this picture I am tempted to start playing at "Magic" again!!!
But how did you do?!!!

Hey all,

Thanks for the feedback on the image!

I have lots more where this came from. :) I'm working on tons of new imagery for my Utherworlds book- I can't wait to show you in the coming months. You'll see some sneak peaks exclusively here and in a few other places come summer:)

You know, for me, one of the signs of great painting is when I can, in my mind's eye, actually enter the painting and walk around inside the world it depicts. This picture has that quality, in spadefuls. Superb.

very kind feedback- you know I really thought about that when I was painting the image - in fact, I always try to think of my paintings "in the round" as I call it.

Loved the image and watching for then minutes... i'll watch it later for more...:) Great dreaming and artistic details. Some matte painting or something there?
Nice to see some brush strokes around the image showing the experienced study.
Hmm but there is a point on the upper left, there may be some perspective problems on the windowed corridor, top of the columns... i don't know, it disturbs me a little.
anyway, 5 stars of course...

Regards.

Great work: athmosphere, detail, the way it draws you in... But what I like most is your use of color to give depth of field to your paintings. Another great job!

Not only an awesome image but awesome portfolio you have. Would you ever consider doing a Gnomon DVD or making one by yourself by chance? I can't attend one of your workshops since I'm too far away at the moment but would be interested in knowing how you do such environments.
