marcorabellini 02-13-2008, 07:35 PM Is there a way to add more default settings to the default Render Settings>Resolutions drop down?

Yes, I am curious about this too. I have always wondered why there was no square format default. Square is sexy, just ask Hasselblad.

Because Hassy doesn't make video cameras, just (wonderful) medium format cameras ;) Ok one can argue that users don't make only animations but stills too but... However you can use the Save Render Presets button to store your own settings.

The "Save Render Presets" is a nice feature that I use often, but it holds the info for <<all>> the render settings. If I want to just change the resolution setting it would be great to be able to add to it and access it from the pulldown, like you can in AE.

Well I just now got looking and found under the Film Format pull down in render settings there is an option for 'Medium Format' which sets the aspect ratio at 6 x 6, so Maxon was thinking of us still image makers. So that is good I found it, it will save me a few clicks in future.

You're right. I'll suggest that.
