Wilson-3d 04-30-2003, 09:30 PM Hi Gang! I just finished my entry for the VFX Challenge. I have been reading the sticky at the top the last few days and seem to of been on the right track. I posted at the vfx forum but next time I will post here too. I could of used the extra feed back. Comments are welcome.

very cool.
reminds me of a level out of the jedi game.
like the animation and sound.
only comment would be the right hand building dirt/grime the scale seems to big ...and the pipes down need more grime or less spec.
other than that...top result.

Looks good. I like the sounds alot. Did you use cinema to render the sound or do it in post?

Wow came out great!!
just one comment: the "smoke" is that supposed to be coming out of that cylinder object? If so, during the animation it doesn't track with it.

The smoke was just supposed to be coming from an object out of view. However you are the second person to mention that to me so I guess I should of made it look more one way or the other. Even though I did not intend on it coming from the cylinder It looks a little like it is supposed to be. Which looks a little odd. I just never noticed it until it was brought up. Thanks for the comments.
i just wanted to say that the smoke does appear to come from somethng out of view to me, and not at all from the cilinder. I think its looking really good!
