View Full Version : Problem Duplicating a texture with the model

Simple question

I need help! Ok, this is what I have: A nurbs gold coin with a planar texture mapping on top. When I dublicate and translate my coin, the texture does not follow. I tried duplicating the (place3dtexture node), parenting, grouping, referencing... Do I have to manually build each shader for every coins (40 and more)!!! Help please! :annoyed:

I think you will have to duplicate his shader also..because you use projection

or I would convert in polys ...then you just have to copy the coin (you need to unfold uvs first) but that way you need just one shader..


im not saying that it cant be done with NURBS..I just dont know how to do it

Someone at CGChannel Forum helped me out on this one! The trick is to create a texture reference object in the rendering module (texturing). Thanks anyway buddy :thumbsup:
