sorry if this has been asked 1000 times but i looked and did a search and nothing poped up.

are there any learning resources for mental ray. books dvds somethimg more than tutorials but a little more user friendly than the help files. i know alias has a dvd but it like 120 bucks and thats just way to much. thanks all

Unfortiunatly i only know of that very expensive DVD AW is selling, apart from that try searching Amazon for some Books. I think some time needs to pass before real MRfM books come out, same goes for tutorials.

i'd suggest to browse through the posts of this forum - you'll find a lot of links to tutorials and useful tips

yeah theres (Rendering with mental ray) a book but its 4 years old now, i can only imagine how much has changed.
