assuming you are using editable mesh or editable poly, you should be able to just select all those verts and hit the weld button. you can also use the uniform scale tool to bring verts that are close together into an intermediary point for welding, or just up the weld threshold if they are not quite close enough to weld on the first try
although if u have trouble with that then it's probably because there are other faces or edges in the way, which, if the verts were welded, would create impossible/invalid shapes. so if the weld button doesn't work then check for random edges etc

My biggest beef about 3ds max? The fact that it's packaged with no tutorials, help files, or manuals!!!
What a p-o-s app!:annoyed:

A simple request I know, but -
I would like a better subject line!
As much as I would like to follow this thread, and perhaps participate, I'm not going to hunt it down to check it's progress or for follow-ups.

Signal to Noise.
There is a button with F1 on it on your keyboard. If MAX is open and you were to push this button, you would be amazed at what you'll find!
It doesn't take much effort, it's only a single finger push away. Versus writing a whole paragraph stating that MAX has no help files. Try it. You'll be amazed!

But, thanks for the 'advice' anyway:thumbsup: (that would be sarcasm)

Actualy, Sig, I think he did use sarcasm there!!!
"Try it, you'll be amazed!"
But, yea, I knew you were kidding by the fact that you had bold typed, and that everytime someone asks about this stuff, ONE of those wonderful resources are mentioned.. =/ Heh...I mean, if you bought the software and paid 3 grand for it, then you SHOULD have some sort of manual, right??? ;)

1 : a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain <tired of continual sarcasms>
2 a : a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual b : the use or language of sarcasm <this is no time to indulge in sarcasm>
Is this what you mean?
I thought that was what I was being too. Oh well!
All in fun my friend! Don't take it so seriously, I think they should at least read the tutorials as well.
