well i'm feeling "fiercely defensive" and will continue to be whilst trolls from other forums continue to post in c4d forums its better elsewhere.....cos i just plainly obvious it isn't better elsewhere!

We have a right to be fiercely defensive when there are so many doubters out there until they finally decide to bite the bullet and try the demo.

i'm not fed up with the genuine question...just the miss information out there about C4D.....whats interesting about that review is that the press have obviously picked up on cinemas very loyal userbase....which actually stands us out from the crowd...to our credit and maxons.
:annoyed: :insane: :annoyed:  :drumrock:

I've only been a user of Cinema for a couple weeks, but I would defend it against any other program. Before buying it I tried every other 3d program that had a demo. Not only did I find C4D to have some of the most impressive options, its by far one of the easiest to use and definitly one of the stablest. I have yet to crash it, but I could crash Maya within 5 minutes of usage.
I hope Maxon never sells or discontinues this great software!!!

Banish that thought... I went through 3 years of waiting for Strata to upgrade or add a feature. It was awful. I bless the day I cross-graded to C4D R5.

thought id add this it came from a comment about one of my projects it relates to "We have a right to be fiercely defensive when there are so many doubters out there until they finally decide to bite the bullet and try the demo. " I have heard bad things about Cinema 4d, but this render throws all that I have heard into the trash. Great work, I'm suprized to see such a nice looking image comming from Cinema 4d

Ask the irc #cgtalk chatters what usually happens there. Everytime they need me they don't open a private conversation with me anymore, they simply write "c4d sux" in the channel, they already know that's the fastest way to call me :D

"fiercely defensive" hehe :D I sure recognize it.

I just hated it when I made a nice image and posted it on GoT (dutch board) and people would reply: "How do you do that in Max" :annoyed:. While my signature clearly says "Cinema 4D user" :hmm:.
