Well your animation is pretty good but your lip-sync appears to be quite a bit off. I don't know if its a DivX artifact or if you just have it mistimed but everything seems to be too late. A good idea is to synch everything up then move the keyframes back 2 frames, so if it was frame 254 before now it would be 252 and so on. Slur your phonemes together more too I think. I will take a look at it again later but right now I was so distracted by the lip-synch apparently being off that I couldn't even concentrate on your animation, which was quite good.

Yes, I agree. The lipsync needs more work. If time permitted I would like to see the students make those adjustments that were suggested.
I actually spent more emphasis on directing the physical animation (timing, anticipation, follow through, and snappiness).
Any other comments? These guys worked really hard and woud like as much professional feedback as possible, as they are going to be looking for work in the industry very soon.

Hey!
Pretty nice animation :)
A few thoughts though:
Camera angles. There are many many different camera angles, maybe too many. Quite often i see the 180 degree rule broken aswell as breaking the invisible line between 2 characters interacting.
Some of the animation seems too slow. This goes for all characters, but for example lets take the the cow jumping. Maybe holding the pose in mid-air and accelerating the jumping speed would help. Goes for when he is running up for the jump as well.
Sometimes holding a pose is worth more than overanimating aswell.
I hope I don't seem too harsh..

Well, Thanks to all those who commented, there is some truely great work here... we appreciate the kind words and the critiques..
As far as the camera angels and quick shots we were trying for the MTV editing style... but the 180 degree rule, we were pretty critical NOT to break this rule so maybe check again... But tweaks will be made in the future and if you look at the book on which the story was based the flow might make more sense...
Now the lipsync, we all agreed it needed work but the class ended and we ran out of time... So... Hopefully the corrections will look better...
But again thanks for the comments
