great work with this one, it make me imagine a whole story out of it, great attention to detail as well, the only thing I would add is if you have that much DOF you need a little bit more over the foreground left iceberg, very colors man ,did you model the ship or is it painted? keep up the good work !

Outstanding Mr DG, I really love this, It has the air of concept artist Ralph McQuarrie about it. Love the colours and the way you painted the figures in warm colours against the contrast of the cool blues. Everytime you post you break my heart cos you are really good.

Lots of respect

Very, very nice. I think you did a great job with getting that cold eeire feeling.

Could you break it down for us? I'd love to see the different parts of this piece. :)

hey dude, i like this!

but you have some issues i think you should solve..

1.get rid of the cut out sharp edges on the ice(left)

2. colors correct all the ice, some are more towards greenish and some towards blues.

3. bad perspective tweaks on the top of the ship, it looks extremely skewed atm

4. the ice that is painted on the ship looks like its in blocks here and there, and so i think you should paint more ice and more spread out.

good luck mate, sorry about the harsch crits but i feel it would help the image out alot

cheers

Thank you guy`s! Thans alot also for critique, it helps me every time to improve
I used photoreferences for that and a few of my odl models fom max and zbrush. Not big perfect models but they help me with shapes, detais and etc.
Break it down? Maybe later, now I have a lot things to do... even I am late with my book I am working on + I would like to do something what people wants-I post new thread about that :)
So + my current job at the company... alot of things to do, so maybe later friends :)

Awesome, the ice looks fantastic. I'd personally like to see the ship more "iced" as it were. More white. I'm thinking of the photographs of the Endurance by Frank Hurley.
