You really have a great style, all of your paintings are amazing. Do you mind giving a little insight on how you blend in photoshop? I've used the smudge tool but I didn't like the look I got from it and plus when you zoom in, theres this weird grainy effect.

Hi rblitz7,

I use a Pen Pressure brush when I blend in Photoshop. In the brush palette under Other Dynamics I make sure it's checked and have the Opacity Jitter and Flow Jitter set to 0% and make sure the Control on both is set to Pen Pressure. So that's 0% and Pen Pressure on both.

I also make sure that Smoothing is checked so my brush strokes aren't jagged. You'll notice now your brush strokes will have more pressure sensitivity.

Also under Brush Tip Shape you can play with the hardness and spacing. A big soft brush makes good for transitions. I play with the Hardness and Spacing all the time depending on what edge I want. It's like choosing the right brush size and tip when painting traditionally:)
