Title: Kitchen Story
Name: Chris Noeth
Country: Germany
Software: Photoshop
This image was created 100% in photoshop. I first sketched the image and did the perspectives for the kitchen and later painted over the sketch with a Wacom Intuos2 DinA5.
The image shows a girl named MAYA. She is the main character from my creator owned comic I will do after finishing my mini-series "It Came From Beneath The Sea... Again!" for Bluewater Productions Inc.
I would love to read what you think of this image and the character.
Best,
Chris

as a giant comic book nerd I would say I love the expression on the face . along with the idea .
I ll touch on minor points.
there are issues with feet and legs about their perspective. the knee caps are drawn as side views like we are seeing the legs from profile. the feet is in perspective but the anatomy of the feet needs improvement like the heels are way too big it gets too thin to the tip of the feet.
besides that,
the pose and the placement of the dog is challenging the overall composition. frame of the picture is cutting the dog , so we see only 2 legs, that is weakining his blending with the perspective. also he creates a very strong focal point that doesnt help the picture.
so I say overall really good but some points need improving. good job. keep going . =)

Good Image! I like the design of the kitchen, But I'm confused as to what is happening. Is the woman possessed by something?

shanmuga: Thank you! Good to read you like it :)
waheednasir: Thanks! To paint the kitchen took some time. ;)
Zodiac: Thank you for the crits. I appreciate the detailed comments.
Rudds: Thanks! The image shows a scene from a later point of the story where Maya discovers by accident she can fly. But pssst... that's a secret! ;)
Thx again!
BTW: If you want to see another image of Maya you can take a look at the following link. The style for this one shows the style I will use for the sequential art:

Nice.
This is really good. Everything is really tight apart from possibly the limbs, but only just a little.
Overall excellent, well laid out and executed!
