Hello,

When I read the news features of AE, Adobe tells it's possible to import Macromedia® Flash™ .swf. I try with some flash file but it doesn't work with me. I always get a message error. Do I have to do some specials things ? Thanks for your help !

What is your error?

After Effects needs Quicktime installed on your system to import/export .swf files.

They really aren't .swf native.. they become quicktime.

Yes, thanks for your reply.
It works now, maybe quicktime was corrupted...

I have another question. It is impossible to rasterize a swf file as illustrator in AE ?

thanks

You can not rasterize a swf, but increasing the original size of the swf may overcome some problems should you need to scale / zoom...
(obviously performance will take a hit)
