Im kinda embarrased to ask this really, ive got the student CS3.4 and it comes with no manual. Ive downloaded some tuts from Discreet as was suggested to me in an earlier post I did (very obvious when you think about it :)) but im still stuck on the basics :(

Last time i asked a stupid question here i solved it a few hrs later but... oh ill just go ahead and ask it.

How do you resize/scale parts of the biped. The Max scale tool does nothing and I cant find a scale tool within CS's tools. Under 'Trajectories' there is a scale mentioned but I cant seem to get anywhere from it.

When you buy the full license for CS do you get an actual manual because not having a diagram or description of what all the tools in CS do is a real pain :(

The forum on the Discreet website is just plain bad so ill look like an idiot here :)

Howdy !

The fact you don't have any manuals does not mean that you can't search the web, does it ?

take a look here, there are a couple tutorials on setting up a biped and using physique and so on..
If i'm correct what you're looking for is called Figure Mode, and allows you to scale/nuscale biped's parts, to fit the biped to your model.
Anyhow it sounds strange that you should not be able to scale bones, i was thinking Cs would let users scale bones, but that might be in Cs4.
