Your style is awesome. Even if its thousands of year old but its in 3d. So cool.

Does it work with animations?

You really should explain more in your post.
I never got it that it was a 3D render :hmm:

Anyway, it looks really good, the way you make it look like an old painting though it is done in 3D is really impressive.

Outstanding clips that I saw!

At first I thought you guys use toon shader, but as soon as I see them I know its not(at least not the conventional Toonshaders that's everywhere nowadays).

I was amazed to see it in motion, by looking at it closely, I can see how can it be done. The similar results can be achieved provided I get a traditional artist to paint textures in that style, map it carefully with good opacity maps at where the gray scale inks suppose to fade away. And the lighting has to be as flat as possible by showing no shadows at all. Last but not least add more tricks in the post-production stage.

I really looking forward to see the final movie whatever its for. BTW I have seen animated Chinese painting before but not as good.

Keep up the good work!

Amazing. What success - you should really find a way to get this style more exposure. It looks surprisingly authentic.

Great job!
