Title: Living downstairs
Name: Jordan Gorgiev
Country: Macedonia
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

For this image I concentrated my work on textures and lighting,
for the DOF effect I used the KPT Blurrr filter with a Z-depth channel as a mask, it's not physically correct but it's much faster than rendering with camera effects.

Comments are most welcome.
Thanks for viewing.

Sorry to say that but the DOF effect ruins the whole picture which is otherwise very nice. You should really take the DOF out...

nice textures, some suggestions
1. remove the human,
2. remove the lens flare
3, adjust the dof, i bit low.

over all very nice. 3 stars

There's, IMHO, a problem with proportions.. When I look at the picture I get the feeling that it's squashed..

Disclaimer: I *DO* like the image!! I just have some creative criticism. :D

I don't know if I agree that the DOF ruins the whole image, but I do think you need to lower it. it's not quite natural. It more seems that I need to put my spectacles on to see outside.

Try doing something a little more believeable with the human. I have a feeling that if I were in that position, I wouldn't just be laying in the middle of the floor. try to put yourself in their shoes.

Everything (especially the railing IMO) is a bit too shiny. You have a very grunge look with the textures, and the shininess is counteracting it. It may be that the lighting is too bright, I cannot tell.

other than that, I do enjoy the image! Keep up the good work, and post an update :D
